Why Sample This Saturday?

For us, Saturday is National Cheese Day and the start of June Dairy Month. We want to celebrate with you in the best way we know how – with cheese and milk samples! You’ll have the opportunity to meet Stephanie and Amy, two small business owners. We’re the faces behind Central Wedge Cheese Shop and Destiny Dairy Bar and we’re both dedicated to bringing local dairy foods to Carlisle!

Amy formulated, tested and revised Destiny Dairy Bar milk flavors over the past year to deliver the best flavor experience. Sample the results and choose your favorite flavor! Her family’s farm is located right outside of Carlisle where they provide exemplary care for their cows and the result is delicious creamline milk. Between the quality and flavor options, there are an unlimited number of ways you can use Destiny Dairy Bar milk in your kitchen!

What About the Cheese Samples?

I source cheese created by cheesemakers and made on farms right here in Pennsylvania. We have a rich history of dairy farming and buying local continues to support those farm families. My passion is in how we can create nutritious and satisfying meals from local cheese! I’ll be sampling four cheeses that I continually go to for cooking and entertaining.
